| Since 1600 today T-Mobile service for all Germany is no more. Supposedly 40 million customers are affected. All I get is a clicking sound... | |

| That bites. They just pulled the rug out from under you with no warning? _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

| Oh man, that does stink. It was one of the few services that could be used both in Europe (at least Germany) and the U.S. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Apparently a software failure is to blame. Two of three servers that control this particular software had to be reseted...how long it will take until the system is fully operational is anyone's guess. Some companies do not use standard land lines for business, their client communications are done over T-Online and T-Mobile's network.
I used to work for Deutsche Telekom (T-Com), T-Mobile's parent company. Hardware and software failures aren't uncommon...they just don't usually happen on this scale. | |
