Looks like Feb & March of '09 will be a great time to start the year off. Aready announced (and rumored, that will probably turn truth)
Red-Innocense & Instinct-Feb 10
Vota (formerly Casting Pearls)-Feb 10
GUARDIAN-rumored Feb '09 (see below)

Seventh Day Slumber-Take It All Away-March 10
Decyfer Down-Crash March 17
Hopefully Stryper in either month

Also saw where there may be a tour featuring Skillet/Disciple/Decyfer Down. Really does it get any better than that?

According to Jamie Rowe the guys have figured out a way to get new music out there and remain in thier current jobs. They have a new guitarist so no word on weather Tony Palacios is involved. A post on CMR stated that karl Ney said it will come out in Feb.

I'd be interested in just Stryper and Guardian, although I am slightly sceptical about the feb/mar thing. I would say.......

Stryper - October
Guardian - Never

But here's hoping!

I have read Jamie's blog and he did promise music that early, Fundy. They must be hitting the studio very soon. Tony is supposed to be involved with writing/recording but not in any possible touring.

As far as new releases go, I'll definitely get:

Red
Decyfer Down
Guardian
Seventh Day Slumber
Stryper

I'll have to hear some of VOTA (why the name change???) before I get it.

Looking forward to those new releases.
I haven't heard from VOTA and I am curious how they sound.

Vota changed thier name because Casting Pearls was similar to Casting Crowns. As far as Guardian, we've heard it before and been dissapointed. However they recently played a concert in Argentina to a crowd of 80,000. Jamie did mention in his blog that they had a brainstorming session and looks like it is a go. I'm sure Jamie will update soon. My understanding is it will be a online release. Hopefully a full album and not a dreaded ep. The fact that Karl David & Jamie are talking about it now makes it more exciting.

I am betting that there will be enough demand that they will offer a CD release shortly thereafter. There are too many low cost solutions for them to not offer a CD.
