| Are you a fan of modern rock in the vein of Pillar, Killswitch Engage, or Sevendust (the last two bands are not Christian)? If you like your hard rock like this, then you really need to hear the latest CD by the band This Fire's Embrace called "Warrior Poets". These 14 songs will get that head to bangin'! http://cdbaby.com/cd/thisfiresembrace _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| I just talked Topshot out of their earlier CD. So, I'll be getting both of their discs soon! Ya'll call me an ambulance--I'm gonna have whiplash. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

So, I signed up to be reminded when it was coming back in. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

Killswitch Engage modern rock??? If Killswitch Engage is modern rock I have some oceanfront property in Montana I'd like to sell you. They're not even close. They're straight up metalcore. www.myspace.com/killswitchengage Though definitely not Christian they have some pretty good lyrics and are pretty clean. Some of them even claim to be Christians. As far as This Fire's Embrace go they don't sound to bad.

Just reading the band comparison links at CD Baby. When you set up your pages to sell your CDs, the band/artist picks out three artists that they think they sound like. So, if the comparison is off, blame it on This Fire's Embrace. Either way, I'm looking forward to hearing them. Of course, it's gonna take a couple of days to get here, which is cool. I can spend some quality time with the new Third Day and Keys2Eden.

So, if the comparison is off, blame it on This Fire's Embrace. That's cool, I just didn't want anyone who likes or expects a metalcore band to be mislead or disappointed if they bought this album. It would be kind of hard for a bands sound to resemble both Pillar and KSE.

| Actually, now that I have the CD and can compare to songs on both Pillar's and Killswitch Engage's MySpace page, I would have to agree that their is a huge blending of the styles for This Fires Embrace. Check it out for yourself. http://www.myspace.com/thisfiresembrace _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| I just went to order this and it's out of stock at CD Baby. Oh well I'll get it later. I still don't hear a whole lot of KSE (metalcore) in those samples, but it sounds pretty good and I need some more heavier type Christian music in my collection. Besides I really like the testimony about how the singer was at the Damageplan concert that Dime was shot at and decided he needed a change in his life. Guess that just shows that some good can come out of terrible events sometimes. | |

| I'll remember that in the rare possibility that I don't like it. But, if it sounds anything like "Warrior Poets", then you will be waiting a LONG, LOOOOOOONG time for me to let go. I'd probably be more apt to let go of Incrave of the new Seventh Power. I haven't listened to those yet, either.

You should have beat him to my list. I'm surprised he likes it with all the screaming vox. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

It's not like it's prevalent throughout the songs. I don't think they scream as much as even Disciple.
