| I don't think it's overwhelming the amount of releases right now. Matter of fact, it's been a little slower allowing me to catch up a bit on listening. But, just when you think you are getting caught up, you find some new tunes. There are always new tunes. Thankfully! _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| Well it's a little tough on use with only a $20 per month cd budget. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| I agree with you Gary to much music is coming out last weeks. That's why I made two lists. A can wait list and a can't wait list. My can't wait list is growing so..... | |

| $20 per MONTH????? $20 a WEEK would be more my style. $20 TWICE a WEEK would be even more like it! LOL Sometimes, not having kids is a major blessing! When you get a chance to pick this up, you won't be disappointed. If you can imagine Third Day mixing elements from "Time", "Come Together", and "Wherever You Are", then you've got a feel for the style. They lyrics are not real in your face, but there is more than enough topics of faith throughout. This CD seems to have been written as more of a secular crossover album but with their Christian fanbase in mind. Bringing in Chris Daughtry and Lacey Mosely of Flyleaf will attract a lot of listeners from secular fans of those artists. This CD is definitely a southern rock album. Nothing overly heavy, but it has a lot of high energy blues filled songs and a lot of laid back slower tunes that border on country music (in true southern rock fashion). I think this will be the CD that either gets the non-Christian world to notice Third Day, or they will be stuck playing to the choir as the saying goes. How does Lacey from Flyleaf sound on here? She sings very well without using even a hint of her hardcore screams. If I had not known who it was, I would have never guessed without reading it online or on the CD inserts.

| I picked this up today. It's got some pretty good songs on it. My favorite is probably Call My Name. I wish Lacey would've done some screaming on her songs though. Her voice is much better suited for the heavier type stuff. Overall I think this album is better then their last album IMO. | |

| I think that Lacey's voice blended well with Mac's. This is a Third Day disc--I don't think that the screams really fit their styles. Apparetly, producer Howard Benson didn't either.

| I have listened to this multiple times and like it more with each listen. But, there is one song where they even use a banjo. Feel free to hit the skip button.

| It is the one song that just doesn't seem to fit with the rest of the disc and creates a lull where it's located. This song should have been cut. They could have put it on a CD with B sides and maybe the EP they did years ago.

| Is anybody going to see them on tour ? They are coming to Atlanta with Switchfoot and Robert Randolph Band. I think I may have to go. I have seen Third Day several times, but I would also like to see Robert. | |

| I want to see them, but not the other bands. I don't really want to see Robert Randolph, Switchfoot, or Jars Of Clay. The other bands are okay, but I don't like them enough to want to see them. I wish Third Day could tour with Decemberadio opening. THAT would be a show!
