Eagerly awaiting.......

Titanic - Full Steam Ahead.

To save money I've ordered it from CDbaby without a jewel case and also the slow delivery method. Saved me $3, but makes me wait longer! (Been awaiting 1 week today!)

Alot of people say that waiting for it is fun, and makes you want the CD more. That may be true, but I'm done with waiting now.

Where is my CD. I wanna rock!

To be honest I don't think waiting for a CD you would love to listen to is fun.
I'm very impatient when I order CDs and can't wait to listen to my new CDs.

I'm waiting for two weeks for Jeff Deyo.
Every day I think if not today then tomorrow.

This is probably one of the biggest reasons why I only order domestically. I'm just too impatient.
But I can certainly understand why you guys/gals on the other side of the atlantic would order imports.

It arrived today, and it's great. Easily the best of the 3 Titanic albums, and at the moment Wisdom and Upon The Cross are my two favourites.

Me too. I like being able to order something in the USA and have it in 2 or 3 days tops. I remember ordering stuff when I was a teenager, and things took anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks to arrive. The mail service is so much better these days. But, with the advent of e-mail and online bill paying, the postal service has a lot less volume of letters which means more room for packages.

Now, back to the topic at hand:

The new Titanic CD is the best thing I've heard so far this year. It will take something MAJOR to demote that CD even to a #2 position.

I just enjoy it that much. I have listened to it at work everyday since receiving it, and I haven't tired of it yet.

The only competition that this could have would be the new Stryper, Strangeland, or maybe that promised (but still yet to be seen) new Whitecross albums. Those will all be contenders for first place if and when they happen. But, they are really gonna have to blow my ears!

How about lyrical content... are they watered, or does their relationship with Jesus still flow through their writing ?

Flow? It gushes! With the new Titanic CD, there is no doubt on which side of the fence they are on. These guys are disciples of Christ, and it strongly shows in the lyrics.

Best deal I have seen is $14.99 plus shipping at CD Baby.

Titanics "Screaming In Silence" was rather vague on the lyrical side, but I'm guessing that could be because some of the songs were written for the Subdux (or whatever it was called) band?

The new one is EASILY the most upfront lyrically and it stands out from the rest in every other way too.

Is it really that much better than the first two? To be honest, I liked the first two Tinanic album while I was listening to them, but they had no staying power with me.

Plus, I do NOT want to hear yet another version of "Hypnotic".

I would say it stands head and shoulders above the other 2. They indeed were good, but the vocalist and lyrics make this new one sound so much better.
