Oh man, I'm gonna have to log in some overtime so I can catch up on all these cool new releases over the last few months.

I ordered mine this morning!

I'll probably get this, but it sure is a major turn-off to me that they continue to use "professional" vocalist instead of finding a real singer for the band.

Maybe the search for a new singer continues. I know that many times I feel that Mission Of One would be stronger with a different singer. But, finding the right person is hard. If I could get a more professional singer, I would do it for the studio--especially with me not being a touring band.

Some inside info to make you feel better -
Steve Young is actually the official singer for Letter 7 -
He just happens to be a professional at his skill...
He does have a regular day job...
One of the main reasons for switching to Steve is the fact that he is not a hired contracted musician ( like Tom Collete was for the first disc ) and he is available for live venues...( which Tom was not )
We auditioned 3 singers before getting Steve and it was no contest from the first line he sang on "Runnin"
This was a true Godsend for us because -
1) He lives right down the street from me -
and
2) Singers who are even interested in this genre and can hit these kinds of ranges are nearly impossible to find anymore...

I'm hoping to see that new Letter 7 disc either today or tomorrow.

The CD arrived today! I must say that if you liked the first Letter 7, you will not be disappointed. The songs are well written, Steve's vocals are awesome, the guitar is smokin', and the bass and drums hold down the rhythm section nicely. Great work, JD!

My new Letter 7 is ordered too.

I thought the first album was great. I'll have to start saving some money now!

I want X-Sinner (gotta get that!), Stryper, Letter7, Impellitteri,................. I need to write a list!

My copy came yesterday! This is great!!! If you liked the first CD, you're gonna love this one too. They're kinda like Mad Max....very consistent, and very good!

I haven't gotten it yet but it's been ordered. The Myspace clips sounded very good. And I love Mad Max as well FOJ.

You and me both Fundy, I started my list last month.

Fundy I have a "wanted" list and a "can wait" list.
It's frustrating to make the choice what can wait and what's on the "wanted list".

I'm just trying to keep my head above water. I've hardly looked for anything from bands in almost 2 months. Will play a few new things Sunday, but there could have been many more. That's assuming the xmitter is still on. Another storm is coming through tonight.

I just received the cd in the mail today. This is an awesome album.
It has jumped to the number one spot for releases so far this year.

I just listened to it last night. While I think Fear No Evil is still my fav song, this album is much more solid.

I got my album yesterday. I took it to work and listened to it twice. I thought the first album was great but this second album is downright killer! This album is my favorite album so far in 2008.
