I saw this over at CHM the CMR and found it interesting. As many of you might know Stryper's reunion album "Reborn" released back in 2005, was actually first recorded as a Michael Sweet solo album. Well Michael has tweaked his original recordings a bit (apparently adding guitar solos) and is selling it now (on CD and Vinyl) as "Reborn Again".
If you click on the link below you can pre-order an autographed CD (at a staggering $25) and even listen to the title track. I have to say it does sound better than what I remember from the Stryper recorded version.
Not too sure what to think of it myself. Might spring for a digital copy (assuming they make them available), but not willing to spend that kind of money on a CD (especially given that Reborn was one of my least favorite Stryper albums).

I heard it. And while it is better than the original it reminded me of how I don't care for that album at all. I liked it when it first came out because it was new Stryper material but as time has gone on it hasn't aged well. Guitar solos added all these years later probably isn't going to save it.
With that said, if digital downloads become available I'll give it a listen and buy it. There are a couple of really good tracks but a lot of it is forgettable.

I think it sounds pretty doggone good! But, at $25 a pop, I will wait for either the downloads or a copy that isn't autographed.

They now have copies available that will not be autographed for only $15. I went ahead and got one.
