I tried watching Black Summer on Netflix but had to quit a few episodes in. Too horror-movieish for me.

Right on, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I heard rumors that the makers of Prospect might be doing a miniseries next, though I don't know what the status of that is. I look forward to seeing how they develop their style.

We finished up season two of The Tick. This show has been silly and fun while still trying to be a serious superhero show.

They have an older live-action show about the Tick on Amazon Prime as well. I think I will check it out!

I watched that one when it was new several years back. It focuses more on the Tick and a small group of second rate super heroes (who seem to spend a lot of time hanging out in a diner). Patrick Warburton (from Seinfeld fame) stars as the Tick. It's not quite the same show, but still entertaining.

I am trying to watch it, but it is nowhere near as good as the new Amazon version. The Warburton version is just dumb.

I haven't seen it since it was new (early 2000s?). I thought it was rather quirky and different at the time....might not hold up as well in today's heavy action oriented TV and movie market. I remember there was an animated version in the 90's, but I don't think I ever saw that one.

I used to watch the animated version. It was quirky but action packed. The Warburton one from 2003 looks like a B rated sci-flick mixed with a made for tv comedy about two wannabe superheros. It is quirky, but not good. I understand why it got killed after 10 episodes.

I decided to give The Dirt a try. I know--Jim warned us! It is hard to fathom just how wasted those guys in Motley Crue were all the time. It was non-stop sex, drugs, booze, music, and repeat. They were total animals in how they lived their lives. What is amazing is how they managed to get anything done with their careers and still have the success that they had. They made some great music, but they were definitely not good role models for any generation including mine.

I saw an article that had a movie theater package showing all of the marvel movies together and then ending with Avengers : Endgame. Can you imagine spending 2 1/2 days in the theater watching all of the MCU.

I can't. Three hours was hard to sit still even though I was thoroughly entertained. It took me ten years to watch them all! lol!

Blue Bloods.

Last night, Avengers: Endgame. Easy 9.5/10. Well worth the three hours...not one "nose-powedering" break either!! Very Happy

I didn't get O Brother, either. It had a couple moments but other than that it was just kind of weird.
