MySpace friends

We were dicussing "spam" from people asking to be friends on MySpace on the Goliath thread. This is usually of a sexual nature or some stupid sales pitch although I seem to get dozens of them from bands as well. I have found a way to prevent most of this.
There is a setting on your MySpace account where you can require a "captcha" that people have to solve before they are allowed to request you as a friend! Go to your account settings and click on "spam" and then click "require captcha". You will be all set and it should eliminate those pesky spammers!

CAPTCHA : This is a special image that computers have difficulty reading. It helps prevent people from using spammer bots to send you messages and leave comments.

I had wondered where to find that. I've looked a couple times for where to set that up. Thanks for the directions.

I get these every once in awhile logging into my Yahoo e-mail account.
