| I haven't been to see it yet, but I want to this week. Has anyone else here watched it? What are your thoughts on it? _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| I watched it on Saturday night. It's very good, but not as good as Spider-Man 2. There have been some negative reviews about it, and to some extent I think they are right. But if you take it for what it is (a good entertaining marvel film) then you'll no doubt enjoy it. According to Sony, they will also be making Spider-Man 4, Spider-Man 5, Spider-Man 6 and possibly Spider-Man 7!!! So if you like Spider-Man, then next 10 years are going to be great!!!!! Out of ten..... Spider-Man 1 - 6/10 - It's good, but although the film was watchable there was something lacking in it's appeal, and I really didn't like the ending. Spider-Man 2 - 8/10 - Much better this time round, with some great set pieces and a much better ending (ok, so I'm a softy!) Spider-Man 3 - 7/10 - A good all round film let down by the fact that the script doesn't seem to gel together that well. I have to say that I'm not that keen on Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker. Kirsten is great, and so are the rest of the cast, but Tobey seems a bit sleepy and not really up for the role. I would think he'll do the 4th and maybe on from there, but in some ways I'd like to see a more charismatic person in the role as Parker. Fundy _________________ My Christian Metal Website......... | I have heard that both Tobey Maguire and Sam Raimi (director) have both said that they will not be involved in any further Spiderman movies. Sam said it was time for him to pass the torch to someone else. -- _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| I liked it. I agree it's not the best of the three but still very enjoyable. I think they tried to cram to much into one movie and I would have liked Venom to get more screen time. But overall it was about three hours of my life well spent. | |

| That was my biggest let down--by having 3 villians, the bad guys did not get enough character development to really draw you in. OK, I guess Harry's "new Goblin" has been building for the previous two movies, but Sandman and Venom could both have used more developing. And what's up with just calling Harry "new Goblin"? I thought in the comics that he was Hob-Goblin? _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| I don't know any more villans as I've never read any of the comics, so does anyone know what other villans could be in the next few movies.........

| They just need to stay busy for the next three films that the studio is planning. But, Sam Raimi (the director) has said that he will not continue to direct. Also, Toby Maguire (Spidey/PeterParker) has said that he probably won't return either.

Hmm that sounds familiar. Almost like somebody else already said that....on this very thread. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| OK, I can add some new info. Kirsten Dunst has also said that she won't be involved. Without the same familiar faces, this movie series will probably not be as successful. But, if they waited a few years and then picked it up again (say about 10), then having a new cast would probably work.

| It's always a shame when people don't return to continue being the character they were in the previous films, but I can understand the reasons. I guess they don't want to be typecast for the future. Mark Hamill anyone? Whatever film he's in I always think "Hey, it's Luke!" Sometimes it turns in to such a burden for certain stars. I fear that those in Harry Potter could end up the same, but we'll have to wait and see! Fundy _________________ My Christian Metal Website......... Silence Is Madness

| I could definately see how being typecast would put an actor off of doing repeat films. Even television can do that to an actor (remember the "Fonz" from Happy Days). I expect that all three of the main kids in the Harry Potter films will suffer this same fate, unless their looks change considerably as they age. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... | Saturday night I finally have watched Spiderman 3. A lot of monster like the Sandman and the other monster. I don't think Spiderman 3 is the best Spiderman movie. But it's good to see Spiderman can forgive the man who killed his uncle Ben. Inspite of the revenge Harry had to spiderman because he thought it was Spidy who killed his fahter he came to help his friend Spiderman when he really needed his help. That were the best things in this movie.
Now what's the best Spiderman movie? | |

| The best Spiderman movie, in my opinion, is still the first one.

| I'm going to attempt to see Spiderman 3 today. My wife's at a women's retreat so it's just the guys (my son and I). My son's already seen it but said he'll sit thru it again for me (he better, it's almost father's day!) So, I'll throw in my 2 cents after I check it out. | |

| 8/10 I liked it ! Just as interesting as the battles with his enemies was to see his "battle within". You could probably make some sin-nature illustrations from it. My only beef was the ending. All that he had to go through with saving that ring, then he couldn't give it to her at the restaraunt... the writer should have ended the story with him giving her the stinkin ring !!! That would have been a well-written ending. | |
