I wouldn't have these voices in my head saying, "You Renegade, your only Fooling Yourself. You aren't the Great White Hope; you're just a Blue Collar Man with Too Much Time on [Your] Hands, and if you weren't so Snow Blind you'd realize these aren't the Best of Times, because it's all a Grand Illusion. So quit looking for Miss America and Come Sail Away with us in our Boat On The River, "

| Let's add a little Christian perspective, shall we ...
IF IT WASN'T FOR 80s SONGS...
I wouldn't have known that Silence Screams when there is Innocent Blood in the DMZ Between Heaven and Hell, but even though Mommy Don't Love Daddy Anymore there is a Reach of Love that helps the Hostage know his Civil Rites.

| IF IT WASN'T FOR 80s SONGS... ... The New Kid in Town would not have become a Victim of Love at The Sad Cafe, which led to The Long Run down the Seven Bridges Road in order to get away from Life In the Fast Lane, only to wind up at the Hotel California, where they told him ... "You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave." OK, I'm done.

Well done sir. (edit your post and change "kind" to "kid" and it'll be perfect) Uh, no. I'm going to have to call a foul. He missed it by a decade. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

| I just wanted to "Escape" but she said, "'Please Don't Go'. 'I want to 'Rock With You'". "Oh, 'Do That To Me One More Time'! This 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love' has got me motivated to take down 'Another Brick in the Wall' between us." She asked, "Why don't you 'Call Me' soon so we can head down to 'Funkytown'?"
However, I kept "Coming Up" with excuses not to go since "It's Still Rock and Roll to Me" and couldn't miss the "Magic" of "Sailing" into a Queen show where I was thrown "Upside Down" in the pit - "Another One Bites the Dust".
But she was a "Woman in Love" and my "Lady" wouldn't give up on me. It was "(Just Like) Starting Over" for us.
To be continued... who's up for 1981?

| If it weren't for 80s music, you would never know that I am Nnver gonna give you up, never gonna let you down, never gonna run around and desert you, never gonna make you cry, never gonna say goodbye, never gonna tell a lie and hurt you. You would have never known to pour some sugar on me. I would have never set my watch to Hammer time, either. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

Wow, is that a reference to Paul McCartney's song ? If so, I'm impressed since everyone I've played it for has told me they don't remember that song. I say how could you not ! It was in the Top 40 for weeks in the early 80s, and was a great song ! They look at me like I'm crazy.

| I wouldn't have been one of the Bad Boys Running Wild that would Rock You Like a Hurricane and I'm Leaving you to be Coming Home to The Same Thrill of those Big City Nights As Soon As The Good Times Roll all the while being caught in a Crossfire and after it's all said and done, if it weren't for 80's Songs, I wouldn't be Still Loving You. | |

I'd never know that being born in the USA would cause you to end up like a dog that's been beat too much
(that's a funny line... "beat TOO MUCH" ? So I guess it's ok to beat a dog a little bit and they'll be ok ? LOL)

| If it wasn't for 80's songs I would have never known to shout, shout, let it all out.
I would have never known the waiting was the hardest part.
I would have never known to stand in the place where I live.
I would have never known the kid was not Michael Jackson's son.
...uh, nevermind that last one.
