And now, we get to the album where Petra began to start rocking out. This was the other album condensed onto one CD alongside "Washes Whiter Than". This is the first album where I'm having difficulty picking a song, but I'm going with "Killing My Old Man". Really really good ones here. Angel of Light is a rockin tune as is Chameleon.

The only 2 songs I'm familiar with are The Coloring Song and Angel of Light. So The Coloring Song wins.

Great album (as are all Petra albums). The song that stands out the most for me is Angel Of Light.

I went with Angel of Light since the title was "Favorite" song. I probably would have picked For Anie had it said "Best".

"Chameleon" for me. I love a lot of songs here, but that one was as close to metal as Petra would get (for 1981) until On Fire! some 7 years later. The lead guitar work in the opening sequence (esp. between 0:25 and 0:39) just sounds awesome.

Went with Angel Of Light. I learned the song on guitar (except, of course, for the solo). Love the blues crunch of it. Killing My Old Man almost won out, both for music and lyrics. I have a friend in his late '50s who performed The Colouring Song at a talent show at camp last summer.

Picked the played out Coloring song, only cuz it's not played out with me. I could listen to that song a gazillion more times and never grow tired of the folky sound or the clever lyrics.

Angel of Light. A lot of good songs here, but this is my absolute favorite.
