Anyone familiar with the Australian band Deth Enemy? They will be playing a new christian rock fest in The Netherlands called Rock Alive. I had never heard of them. They are about to release their debut album. The clip sounds pretty good!

I have heard of them as I have seen this clip somewhere. I don't remember if it was here, on CMR, or on one of the many Christian metal pages on Facebook I'm on. I am going to "like" their page and will probably get this when it comes out. I like their sound and what they stand for.

I think the vocalist is great but the production is distorting them way too much.

The CD is available now through their website only. Sadly for us Americans, the exchange rate is bad for the dollar and this will end up costing around $20. I took the hit and ordered it anyway. Perhaps it will be available through Amazon or eBay soon.

They are looking into different US distributors. It is available now through iTunes if anyone wants to check out the downloads.

Deth Enemy is awesome! I hear a joining of classic hard rock with commercial and melodic hard rock sensibilities. I particularly like the vocalist, who can reach down low for some grit and gravel (and at times reminds of Alice Cooper) or cut loose in classic tenor fashion (with the falsettos to match).
There are so many great songs on "Unmovable"- "C.O.D", "Wicked World", "Dark Side Of The Blues", "Devil's Playground", "Crucifier", etc. I do not know where to begin, but this is the album Whitecross should have reformed to record ten years ago or more specifically the direction in which Guardian should have continued post "Miracle Mile".
Needless to say, I will be posting a very glowing review to Angelic Warlord this weekend.

I need to listen to this again. I didn't find it all that memorable and have only played it a couple of times. Maybe a fresh listen will give me a different perspective.

Any place we can get this in the US yet? I'm really curious and would like to hear it, but I don't think I can swing $20+ with exchange rate and shipping.

Thanks for the heads-up. I looked at those but they are all international stores, and with $3.99 shipping it's still $20+ and weeks til delivery. I may have to hold out and hope for a US vendor at some point.
