Unknown Bands

So I am probably the only one here who still has a subscrition to the Heaven's Metal fanzine, but they actually send out sampler cds with each issue now.

But I get them and it seems like there are always one or two bands that I have never heard of of. This means they are probably on the Nightmare label, and quite possibly a group I wouldn't even consider "Christian" per se.

Well this sampler is chock full of bands I never heard of. Anyone every hear of any of these groups?

The Awakening is a Christian goth rock band from South Africa. They are or will be hitting a few US dates very soon, too. A bit too alternative for my taste.

Only one of em that I am familar with is the legends them self, Bride. I know people think that Dale has fallen off his rocker but they still rock, imo.

If they are unknown, then how do you know about them? Wouldn't that make them known?

Thanks for the link topshot, I actually rather liked their song it did have a gothic/alternative vibe to it.
