| Ok, I have seen New Eden’s album “Obscure Master Plan” for sale at a few Christian distros, but also at some secular ones as well. I have read a review or two for this album, and nowhere did they mention anything about them being a Christian band.
Does anyone have any clue about this group? Are they a full-fledged Christian band, or do they just have one or two Christian members like Seemless & Balance of Power? What gives?

| This one has come up over at CMR a couple of times. | Sorry Chosen, didn't mean to get your hopes up.
I would have asked about this over at CMR, but people seem to get dissed on pretty hard when they ask "umm is this a Christian band".

| The bands previous release, "Through The Make Believe" from 1997, had some Christian themes to its lyrics and was reviewed by HM/Heaven's Metal. The bands vocalist at the time, Victor, is a Christian while two other members of the band openly thank God in the albums liner notes. | |

| I didn't like it, so I traded it off on lala. Couldn't tell you much about the lyrical content, as that was some time back, but I just was not impressed musically. |

| Am I right that New Eden is an other band than Eden?
Eden is the band Rex Carroll played in.
I have the same idea that to talk about Christian music is not cool in CMR.

| The main guy in the band is guitarist Horatio Colmenares. I believe he writes most of the music and lyrics and is a Christian. I really would not consider them a Christian band but they do have some songs with Christian/spiritual content. You can find out more about them here http://www.neweden.net
