BATTALION - "Runaway" re-issue

Hello,

This past weekend I discovered that Battalion's classic album "Runaway" is going to be re-issued on Arkeyn Steel Records. Following are more details:

"The amazing Christian band BATTALION from Wisconsin, US is the new addition to the Arkeyn Steel roster. BATTALION released in 1994 their first and only album Runaway on the indie label Moonlite and is quite hard to acquire now. With the aid of their singer Brad Lundstrom, Arkeyn Steel unearthed five unreleased songs recorded shortly before the band’s demise and tons of live material to compile a full audio CD featuring 16-pages full color booklet, digital re-master, many unreleased pics, bio and a brilliant new cover artwork represented from Rainer Kalwitz (Blackkout, Wardrum, Fatal Morgana, Katagory V and many more)."

What am I hearing? A classic power metal sound not unlike Sacred Warrior and Recon. Several songs off the album can be heard at: http://www.myspace.com/battalionrunaway

I actually have the original CD. But, with some bonus tracks, I might be tempted to get this reissue.

I'm familiar with Battalion.
I like this band.
My reissue problem is that you get a lot of new CDs and what to do with the old CDs.

Yes this could definately do with a remastering. I will certainly hunt down a copy (btw Dymanis, it's good to see you, seems like you haven't been around in a while).

Yes, I have been REAL busy as of late so took a bit of a break from message boards and other online activities. Things are starting to settle down a bit- so hopefully I will be around on a more regular basis.
