Favorite CDs till now?

After a quiet January there are realeased a lot of very cool CDs now.
What is your favorite top 5 for now?

I haven't picked up too many new releases this year but I really like the new Grand Lux and Letter 7 albums.

I have also recently picked up a few great albums from last few years.

This year, thus far, has been spectacular for me. My favorites to date would be:


1. TITANIC - Full Steam Ahead
2. Letter 7 - Salt of the Earth
3. Seventh Day Slumber - Finally Awake
4. Redeemer - Double Edge Sword
5. This Beautiful Republic - Even Heroes Need A Parachute

Honorable Mention: Boarders - The World Hates Me (just got this one in the other day so it might move up into the top 5).

BTW, I used to post at the old CHM forum as METAL FLAME but changed my user name to Dynamis.

I think I have to wait some days.
There are two awesome CDs I'm waiting for and they are a part of my top 5.
So mine is coming next week.

Mad Max and Essence Of Sorrow are the only really good Christian releases I've gotten so far this year. Deliverance is on the way though. I like the new SDS also, but they just sound like they are content to make the same album over and over again now.

Looking forward to listen to the new Titanic and Boarders.

You're right. I guess that is why even though I like it I can't handle it but so often.

You're right. I guess that is why even though I like it I can't handle it but so often.

That's me too, I really like some of them, but tend to get tired of it quickly. Definately something I have to listen to in small doses.

Essence Of Sorrow and Letter 7 are both really good. I am expecting the new Titanic any day now. Can't wait to hear it!

Those are all secular. If I had to put a Christian cd in there it would be the new Essence Of Sorrow. It's really good.
The band Threshold has a Christian member though who are very bold about his faith.

You cheated Norm. If was going to add secular stuff also then almost your entire list would be a part of my list as well, though I might still put Mad Max and Essence Of Sorrow #1 and #2.
