Modern Rock

Is there any band like Skillet, Linkin Park etc. that has really bold powerful lyrics? I'm just curious as I don't know too much about that side of the music industry.

I'm not much of an expert when it comes to the modern rock bands either, but from what I have heard, it seems like most of it does not come with "really bold powerful lyrics".....at least not with regards to pointing towards Christ.

Decyfer Down, Burning Yesterday,Days Divide,Thousand Foot Krutch, Runaway City (my contender for best new band of the year),Nine Lashes, Pillar just to name a few. Some of those bands are independent but should appeal to all Skillet/Modern Rock fan

I don't remember hearing about the Burning Yesterday band. The samples on CD Baby sound good. They are definitely for the Pillar, Disciple, Decyfer Down crowd.

Yeah pretty much if you like those bands you would like BY. They toured w/Spoken recently. I highly recomending the cd if your looking for new music to get
