Can't stand watermelon(or canteloupe) either... seriously messed up individual am I. And, yes I do eat a lot of beef, and some pork... and every now and again deep fried breaded gator tail. |

| Made a peanut butter banana sandwich for lunch. No not the "Staybrite version , the fried one". I think so now and then I make an other peanut butter banana sandwich and will try the fried version. | |

Very cool, so you tried the "uncooked" version, now you just gotta fry one for lunch next time. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

Not to my knowledge. When I lived in Alabama, a friend of mine and I frequented a Cajun eatery in Huntsville. You could get a pound or batter-dipped, deep fried gator tail and hot sauce for CHEAP! And, they made a pretty mean shrimp sandwich, too. Man, I miss the South! |

Tastes like chicken with a different texture! Tasted like a pork chop to me, but hey, I've got a strange set of taste buds. |

those at our fairs. All it is a large flat peice of fried dough, you can get it topped with jam or with butter, sugar and cinnamon. I think it gets it name because it looks kind of like an Elephant's Ear. We just call those "funnel cakes" here in the south. They are batter squeezed into a deep vat of hot grease. When they are cooked, we coat them with powdered sugar. My wife loves them, but I don't really care for those. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| Arteries are over-rated. Eat what you want, die young, and make a pretty corpse.

| Alligator may taste that way to me now. I was still in high school when I had it and my mom's pork may have tasted like chicken. She wasn't the best cook. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

But yes very much the same artery clogging goodness. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Can't believe this thread is still alive. Oh by the way our state fair is in full swing and my daughter is working there. Last night she brought home an Elephant Ear for her brothers. Problem is they left it sitting on the table and I ate half of it. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."
