See I wish the record companies could see this.
Hardkore heard a few songs he got on a free sampler cd and then he "bought" an original disc from the artists. What a novel idea, you would have thought that no record company exec would have ever heard of this before.

I agree with this....I "have" to get a Rev Seven cd now that Gary has introduced them to me through the sampler he made for me .

I finally was listening to "all tracks" on my new mp3 player, and, coming home from work Dakota Motor Company came on, the song "Alive". I really liked several songs off that lp. And they appear to be recording new stuff.

How come I never heard of this group before?
Everyone should know by now that I am a sucker for female-fronted rock bands. I'm listening to their tune "I Need Love" at myspace right now. Not bad at all. Kind of hard to pigeon-hole their sound. Certainly not your typical modern rock. Kind of a pop and punk sensibility, but I don't think I would call it power-pop either. I actually hear some rock-a-billy influence in the guitars. I might have to hunt some of this down even if it is considerably "poppier" then what I usually listen to.

Okay, I think they only had one lp though,....and if you are a sucker for female-fronted bands....then you are gonna be hooked . I was thinking how I could pay you back for the sampler cd, because I thought you had "everything" that I already had, plus more.

BTW, Peter King is one of the guitarists for the band. After DMC he went on to host the MTV extreme-games (can't remember their exact name) and still does this kind of stuff, currently I see him every Saturday doing a show (can't think of the name) sponsored by Jeep-Outdoor action stuff, anyway, he has done okay during the lay-off, he is the bald guy.
