Is it "Four Old Guys", or "Five Old Guys"? Why is it impossible to find any of their albums for sale anywhere? For years I've been looking for "Town to Town" and "Visibility Clearing" to no avail. It's like they were wiped from existence or something. Any leads ?
Couldn't find them on Discogs

It was actually both! They were a five piece to start with this the "Five Old Guys". When they dropped to a four piece, it still worked to use the F.O.G. name.
When they stopped playing, the website disappeared. I haven't seen anyone offering their music in years. Are they even available digitally?

If you have any of their albums, you might try reaching out to their lead singer. Off the top of my head, his first name was Dave but that's all I remember. If you can't find him, I can put those albums up to share. I didn't find them on Amazon even as MP3.

I have those albums (but not the Town to Town one), although they're in the loft as I don't want them anymore.

If you put your current 'WANT' list on here, I can send you the Visibility album, and I have a few of the ones on your 2022 list aswell.
In return, I'm interested in more Apologetix stuff, if you have any spare (that I don't have).
If you don't have any, I can still send you what I have on your list that I don't want anymore.

Wow that would be fantastic! I don't currently have any duplicate ApologetiX, but I know where I can get some. Let me check with my source and see which ones he has and I'll get back to you. Thanks!
edit: I have access to these albums by ApologetiX: Soundproof Ticked Biblical Graffiti Grace Period Wise up and Rock Recovery

Thanks, I have them digitally already and am trying to find originals for my collection. But thank you for the offer!
I'll also check on FB if he's there

Cool.
Of your 2022 list I think I have YU and Legacy, but after you post an updated list I'll go have a look through the "I'm not really bothered about keeping that CD anymore" box.
Later I'll go and check on my Apologetix list and let you know which ones I have too.

I'm pretty sure I remember buying their second and third album directly from the band at the same time (Visibility Clearing & Broken) and at the time I also asked about the Town to Town Demo. They guy from the band I was talking told me at the time that they had no copies of the Town to Town Demo left so he sent me a CDR of it. I think by the time I got their last album Judgement & Redemption (came out in 2009) I was buying a lot of MP3 music and didn't get the cd (just bought the MP3 album). I notice you can't even get the download from Amazon, so I'm wondering if I got it back when I had a e-music subscription?

I too was doing mostly mp3s back around that time and missed out on a ton of good stuff on CD. I have all their albums on mp3 and love em. But on actual CD, I only own Broken and Judgment & Redemption. It's just so weird how their albums are pretty much extinct on the internet

I'm pretty sure they didn't have any sort of distribution label at all, and just sold their albums through their shows or website. Also if they only printed 500 copies of each album they are probably all in the hands of fans (like us) or in a box in some goofball's attic, basement or garage somewhere (yes, that was a poke at Fundy). Or worse a trash can or city dump!

Add to that that those first couple of albums were on CD-R in slim line cases. They may have only been printing what they sold at home or were just keeping a very low inventory to begin with. There could be less than 500 copies.
