Legacy was a band that popped up out of nowhere back in 2010 and released a CD through Eonian Records. That self titled album put me in mind of bands like Eden and Dokken. I don't remember if that was a new recording or a reissue of something they had released before, but it seemed like that was all we would hear from them.
Well, that has changed! They have just released a new CD called "Hello, New World" also through Eonian. There are only 8 songs, but they pick up right where the previous album left off in sound! They are still singing about Jesus, too. They have also reissued their debut album with two bonus demo tracks.
The band members are:
Doug Meacham - Lead Vocals Fred Blanchard - Guitar Matt Rice - Guitar John Rice - Bass John Jenkins - Drums

Except for being short with only 8 songs, this is amazing!

Let me first say, I love the new album, musically. It’s comfortably in the same genre as the first album, except with much better production. The songwriting is improved and the lyrics are excellent. I would absolutely love Brand New World, if it weren’t for the vocals. I really don’t like what the singer’s voice has become at all. It pretty nearly ruins an otherwise standout album.
