The easy part to pick out is the vocals.  They not only sound heavily auto-tuned but the "s" sounds are also slurred.  The actual music is harder to discern but if you really listen to the guitars, the attack of a pick is missing.

100% of the AI-generated music I've seen also uses AI-generated artwork - which is easier to discern IMO.  I've gotten to the point that if I see AI artwork, I just assume the music is AI as well and pass over it. 

AI generated artwork doesn't bother me unless someone tries to pawn it off as an original creation.  As soon as I hear auto-tune or other nonsense, I turn it off.

Fair enough!  All I was trying to say was that the obvious AI artwork is oftentimes a good indicator that the music is also AI.

We're on the same page.  If my wife didn't do graphics, I'd look into AI art.  Some of it is really good.  Unfortunately, it all kind has the same feel (or lack thereof) to it.

Yeah, the heavy auto-tuned vocal sound drives me a little nuts.  Hopefully they don't find a way to fix that.  I would much rather only listen to music made by people.

AI art doesn't bother me if you don't have the funds to pay a graphic designer.

AI music really bugs me.  There are too many people doing it and then trying to monetize it as though they really did something.  They try to pass it off as their own artistic creation.  Once record labels figure out this is catching on, they will either buy AI sites to cash in on this or get laws passed to stop it.  I figure they will do the former so they won't have any overhead and still expect us to buy.

It is my understanding that the labels are already suing AI generators for copyright infringement.

I can see good and bad things from it all.  A.I. is great fun to use, but when it turns in to commercial, money making, then it's going to put peoples jobs on the line.
People used to pay for art to be created, now they just put in a request to A.I. and it turns up immediately, that puts those artists potentially out of work.
It's the same for music.
At the moment it's quite easy to spot the A.I., but in the end it won't be.

A while back they tried to get A.I. regulated to stop it taking over.  When one of the founding creators of A.I. was asked to sign, he said there was no point.  He said it was too late now.

I kind of get the feeling he's right.

At it's core (from an artistic point of view), eveyone can create anything they want (from pictures to music and beyond) but it all ends up feeling very inward looking and souless.  Like I say, the stuff I do is lots of fun, but it's a bit empty.  Being creative is for sharing, but A.I. is cheating, and who wants to share that!

There are now so many AI projects popping up that I am starting to block people touting this stuff.
