I'm down with this. Diggin' their new material
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE RE: ALL FOR THE KING ‘DARKEST BEFORE THE DAWN’ DATE: FEBRUARY 22, 2024 STREET DATE: MARCH 29, 2024 All For The King are back with their third full length release entitled ‘Darkest Before The Dawn’. The band has seen critical success early on with their first two releases, and has even been hailed by critics as a “modern day Black Sabbath.” Reviewers across the world have compared Erik Tilling’s guitar work to that of hard rock riff master Tony Iommi, and singer Ricard Hulteke to the legendary Glenn Hughes. The current lineup is made up of the following seasoned musicians: Ricard Hulteke – vocals Erik Tilling - guitar Andreas Alov - bass Anders Kollerfors - drums The bands humble beginnings started in 2016, with the band drawing heavy influences from bands like King’s X and Black Sabbath. Over time, the band has cultivated its own unique mix, fusing classic rock and metal with more modern sounds. One of the tracks on ‘Darkest before the Dawn’ features guest singer Ulf Christiansson, founder and singer of the band Jerusalem. The album will be released on Roxx Records, based in Los Angeles, CA. USA on March 29, 2024. The bands debut 2017 album garnered rave reviews, such as: “The songwriting is of such quality, both in terms of heaviness and harmonies, that it might be taken as original material from the musical era that the band was inspired by” (Urban Thoms, Dagen newspaper) Then once again in 2021 with the bands sophomore release, “Let There Be Light”: “Listen! I would recommend this to anyone! I love the album! The more you listen to it the better it becomes! It’sjust epic great metal! Love it, love it, love it!” (Leigh Spencer, Iridium Rock and Metal Review) Today we release to radio the brand new single and lyric video, ‘The Seventh Seal’ featuring the one and only Ulf Christiansson of Jerusalem ‘Darkest Before Dawn’ releases on CD and limited edition vinyl on March 29th via Roxx Records and pre orders launch this Friday with the first 50 orders receiving a limited edition sticker.

Oh man, I'm looking forward to this one (probably going to have to wait a bit for my finances to stabilize a bit). But very excited to hear this new album

I'm really looking forward to hearing it. Mine probably won't be here until late April at the earliest, as I'm waiting for Nordic Mission to get copies. Hopefully Whitecross and Flood will be there too... and I may order the XL double album at the same time.

I will wait on new XL. He has gotten weird with teaching that blacks are the true Jewish nation. It comes off as extremely against whites. I don't care for racism from whites or blacks.

I am loving this on my first listen through the new AFTK release. They have outdone themselves.

I listened to one song of theirs and it sounded pretty good. I'll have to check 'em out more. Where do you guys recommend to start sampling this band?

I expected to be jamming to this new album this afternoon! The mail-man delivered it about 30 minutes ago. I ripped the package open and crammed into my cd/dvd player. Got a few tracks into it before I realized it sounded very familiar. Looked at the cd cover and realized it was the 2022 release "Let There Be Light". Had to jump into my e-mail and look for my order... I was afraid I had ordered the wrong album. Nope, I ordered the new album, and the distro sent me the wrong CD.
I think maybe this band should look at a totally different color scheme for their 4th album. Their covers are obviously too similar looking.
