I am So Glad this is going to be released on CD (pun fully intended). The Classic AOR/Hard Rock/Metal band Chosen Stranger has been picked up by Roxx Records and is expected to be released in early March April. It isn't on sale quite just yet, but I expect a preorder will come out soon. The band has a four song self-titled album EP they released in 1989 that I believe was cassette only. In 1992 they put out a 4 song EP titled "Death Walker" (that also may have been cassette only). No word yet if all of that music will be released on this one reissue CD. Either way I am super excited to have an official release from this fantastic band.

This will be a cool one to have. There are really good MP3 versions of these songs out there, so making a great quality CD (unlike Omega and Latter Reign) will be easily done. I will like having this one on CD.

I asked Bill when the pre-orders on this started. They will go on sale Friday and release in April.

Me too. Hoping they did a good job with the mastering.

It's pretty good... Never was a huge fan back in the day... during the weekly deluge of new bands in the late 80s...
Got lost in my shuffle back then...

I've got to get this. I have loved these guys since the early 90s. I have their 1992 DeathWalker demo on cassette. Great stuff.

This came and I’ve been listening to it for a few days. I like it. I’m usually a stickler for production quality, and this is lacking in that. But for some reason, I don’t care. These guys were really talented. I love their heart for Jesus.

Considering these were self-funded demos for this band, they sound really good. Sure, they may have even gone into a studio that would rival that of some of the label albums, but labels often bring the luxury of a great producer who can help dial in your sound, better mastering, and possibly more hours in the studio for overdubs to really fatten up guitar tones. In the time before Pro Tools and myriads of other DAW recording capabilities, a band paying out of pocket was going to sound nowhere near as good as the guys on a label for the most part.
