Musically this rocks. I was hoping for more explosive riffage rather than a drop during the musical interlude. I find the vocals on the verses to be a bit bland while the bridge and chorus are good. Michael's power screams are still pretty impressive.

Yeah, I was pretty impressed by the screams as well.

This year, I may solely rely on downloads. I have recently incurred extra expenses.
I probably purchase close to half my new music as downloads. Soon I'm going to run out of room for CDs and have to go pretty much all downloads. Even from Amazon a $9.99 album download is more economical than nearly all CDs.

I've got space for about 30 more CD's. After that I'm going to have some room issues! Maybe have to get rid of some of my CD's that I'm not so keen on. Either that or put some of them up in the loft!

Exactimundo. I believe I have added only three cds this year (Flood, The Brave, etc.) and that's probably about it.

I am diggin' the new song. I am seeing fans giving the band a lot of flak for being too formulaic. If they deviated from that formula too much, those same fans would be hating on them for changing or "selling out". I hear a band of older rockers making music they love with a lot of passion and gusto.
Hats off to the Holy Bumblebees!

I agree, this is the sound I want from Stryper. Anything else and I would be less likely to purchase.

Another new song from Stryper released this morning (I think this is the third one from the new album....but for some reason the second one isn't in this thread).
Very old-school sounding to my ears. Not amazing, but not at all bad (pretty good actually, I'm really digging the vocal harmonies in the chorus).

Really loving the subject matter of SoS also. I don't know if they've really covered it before.

A friend of mine ordered his from the Stryker website and it delivered yesterday! He says it’s good but likes the last one better.
