The Bitter Pill (Feat. Serouj Guidanian and Jenny Stokes)

Tomorrow night (Tuesday 8/30/22) at 6:00pm Eastern Time my new song The Bitter Pill will debut on Divine Aggression Radio. Then right after the show at 7:00pm Eastern we're dropping a video of the song being performed by me and the two vocalists featured, Serouj Guidanian and Jenny Stokes. The song will then officially drop on September 5th where it will be available wherever digital music is sold. Check it out!! And support Divine Aggression Radio!

If you're familiar with my 'Evans and Stokes' stuff then you'll recognize the voice of Jenny Stokes on this new song. The best way to describe it would be if you imagined Jenny singing a METAL song with James Hetfield. That's what Serouj sounds like. They are both very gifted vocalists and it was really cool to bring them together on this song!

Yay! We all miss Jenny and hope she is well.

Oh man, really digging the new songs you've been releasing lately.  "Take Me To Your Leader" has that classic Evan's and Stokes duo back in the groove.  I just got to listen to "Life Is...." a few days ago and it is killer as well.  I don't think I have heard Kate Glock sing before, but she is great on this tune.

So are you going to collect these and other stuff you are writing/recording into a forthcoming "John Evans" album, or are you just going to keep releasing singles?

I just caught the debut on TooYube and I have to say it is fantastic!  What a great combination of voices and music, I would easily snatch up a full album of the three of you.

Thank you guys for the comments and support!! Yes I think after about 10 songs I will compile them onto an 'album'. I'm just really enjoying dropping them one at a time. This one was super fun to make and I think it turned out really well. But then next one I'm really excited about! It's gonna also drop this month (in about two weeks) and it's just a heavy crunchy song with a catchy chorus.

Oh man, I'm excited to hear it!  Heavy, crunchy and catchy chorus sounds like an excellent combo.
