This group is a couple years old but I just ran across them on Spotify tonight. It features Christian Liljegren and Jani Stefanovick who were both in Divinefire together. I’ll just leave here this Scandinavian metal cover of Soldiers Under Command 😉

It was a solid release but it somehow didn't really grab me.

I think that’s part of the risk you run when you’re involved in as many projects as him.If you oversaturate the genre with projects, after a while you don’t really have a lot of “new” to bring to the table and it’s harder to grab listeners’ attention. I like his voice, but after a while it gets hard to distinguish one project from another. To be completely honest, Michael Sweet is starting to head in that direction IMO, but the difference is he at least collaborates with other singers which helps keep it feeling a little more fresh.

That's true about Michael Sweet.  That's why I only get the Stryper albums, and some of his solo albums.  I enjoy all those, so that's what I stay with.

For a second there I thought you were talking about Dale Thompson.  lol!

If I had a prize to give, you would have won just for that comment!
