Even though we have been playing together for two years, my band split tonight. Two of the three of us have been feeling like we are spinning our wheels. For me, it was becoming more frustrating with each practice and starting to feel like a job. We all decided that it was best to stop playing even though we had actually written three songs together and had more in the works. I don't know what will happen to those songs now.

Oh man that stinks. Sorry to hear that. I can certainly understand though, seems like if it feels like a job/chore maybe it's not the right group of guys/gals.

Ateast with this, it was a mutual thing that we all were feeling....well, except the drummer who has always been needy and clingy. He wasn't taking it so well.

I think I could continue with the guitarist, but I would have eventually had a falling out with the drummer. We also needed a singer as I am not a good rock singer.
The worst part of this is the songs we have written and what happens to them. I don't want those tunes to die.
