New song from John Elefante. Apparently his new album will be titled "The Amazing Grace", and is due out on Escape Music in April. I have to say this sounds a little more like some of his earlier solo and Kansas stuff, but still in-line with his last solo effort. I'm looking forward to hearing more.

The new album is goodandmixes both his rock and contemporary sides excellently.

After a second listen, this is lighter than what I was expecting. John is mixing the progressive sound of Kansas with some of his rock and contemporary stylings. If you are expecting even his Mastodon 3 sound, you will be disappointed. What he does bring is a very stylish portfolio of everything he has done in his past and made it his own. Hard rock, it isn't. But, it is very good.
