Immanuel - God with us!
I am so thankful that we have a God who was willing to come down into the day to day mess of our lives to give His own so that we could be forgiven of sin, to be redeemed into God's own family, and to have life after this one is over. I am thankful that He didn't just save us and leave us to figure it out on our own. He gave us the written Word as well and the Holy Spirit to help us determine what is true and what is man-made. He gave us a piece of Himself to live in our hearts so that we could know His comfort, His joy, His heartbreaks, His will, etc. He blesses us with more than we really need in this world.
Our Lord is amazing and unlike any other God!!!!
