I was looking to buy the Mastedon "Lofcaudio" gold disc, and I was able to find it at 777music still at the original price, without being jacked up due to "supply running low". I went through their site and noticed that they had a lot of other releases that other sites had either started raising the prices on due to supply numbers or were out of.
Shipping was reasonable.
Item arrived extremely fast (and it even had to go coast to coast), and they even sent it in an actual cardboard CD MAILER!!!! Go figure!!! No crappy padded envelope where the case gets cracked. Ok, in all fairness, I asked if they could send it in a box or protect it with cardboard, but the fact that they actually had a cd mailer box tells me they probably ship like that normally.
So, just like to report what a great experience I had with them.

(they also sell on eBay)

I will have to check them out again. I tried looking that up on my phone, and it wasn't very user friendly.

Just received my second order from them. John Schlitt's The Greater Cause.
I didn't make any requests but they still shipped in a cd mailer box.
I'm impressed.

I want to know more about them. I did a search to see who owns their URL. It is behind a proxy server which is a red flag for me. By checking their Facebook, I did discover that the owner's name is Jeff. That's very vague to me.
I also find the website to not be very user friendly even on my computer. It loads slowly, and you have to work to sort the music you want. Even then, if you check the Metal section, you get everything from Fighter to the most extreme stuff and even modern rock like Skillet. That makes it hard to find anything at all. After six pages of that, I got bored and quit.
But, if you are enjoying it, go for it! Roxx Records and Amazon seem to be my go to places these days.

I have had none of those issues. Page loads fast for me, and I usually search for artists I am looking for, which is the exact same thing you have to do with Amazon, as you just can't realistically scroll through all of Amazon's CDs either.
Proxy servers should not be a red flag to anyone, as they are common and are an important step to secure your network.

I admin the IT department at my job, and we use proxy servers all the time (mail filters, firewalls, load balancing, etc etc).
As for the domain owner's name not coming up, also not uncommon.
I always pay extra to privatize the ownership of web domains I buy, and I have bought about 50 or 60. The owner of our company bought a group of domains one time without my input and found out the hard way WHY you make it private, as he was blown up with marketing calls trying to sell him web page services.
As for who I deal with...
Personally, I buy from anyone who has the best deal.
I patronize Amazon, Roxx, Boones overstock, Girder (a lot!), eBay, Sweet Music, and 777music.
Whichever place has the item I want, at the price I want, will have my business..

Have had no issues with it myself. Have to investigate in greater depth later.

I find it interesting you seem suspicious of who is behind 777music but have no problem buying from Amazon. I'm not trying to get political or anything, but Amazon has proven to be a very "liberal" and "progressive" company lately, two traits that tend to be anti-Christian. Not "are" ... "tend to be." On top of that, many times when you buy from Amazon you are actually buying from some "seller" that is not the company and could be anyone.
Not trying to find fault or anything ... I buy from/via Amazon all the time! Just sayin' the dichotomy of your post amused me.

Wow these guys have a few Veni Domine albums! You don't see those for sale hardly ever... I might-should pick 'em up... Thanks for sharing B4L!
As for Amazon, we've been boycotting them for some time. Though we have made one or two compromises where we literally couldn't find what we wanted anywhere else...

I just like to know who is behind a Christian distro. There have been a few that have been less than reputable in the past and I just want to be sure, if possible, before I do business with them is all.

Glad you found it useful. They really do have a lot of items I thought were only available via the overpriced eBay market.
As for boycotting Amazon...
I work with someone who also boycotts Amazon.
Obviously, everyone has to follow their own convictions, but always keep in mind one thing when boycotting a company...
The people who suffer the most when sales or business dries up is the average worker who winds up getting laid off or hours cut, not the millionaires who run the company.

I do have a question for both kerrick and alldatndensum.
What influenced your decisions to restrict who you buy from?
Do you apply the same criteria to other areas? Like when you go into a grocery store, do you do the same research into the brands on the shelf or the grocery store itself?
This is not me saying I agree or disagree, it's just a question because I am curious. I know the person who I work with that boycotts Amazon is because she worked there and holds animosity towards them for how she left.

I don't do in-depth research on every product and manufacturer ever, but if one (like Amazon) flaunts their unethical and especially-anti/un-Christian values, then I'll boycott them as much as I can within reason. For me, my last straw with Amazon was when they suddenly ceased hosting Parler in a blatant attack on any [free] speech that differed from their liberal agenda. I also stopped banking with Chase and cancelled a Citi-Bank credit card we had because they hate the 2nd Amendment. I surely shop at other stores who have similar values to the ones mentioned, but just haven't happened upon any news articles or press releases or whatever on the topic. Conversely, when I come across a product made in America from a company whose values I'm aligned with, I prioritize buying from them first.
I'll admit that I'm far from consistent when it comes to these things, but I like to at least make some effort in doing so. I make many compromises because the "good" options are often much more limited and expensive, but every bit counts!

Most of my hesitations with music distros stem from either my own or friends' experiences with business owners. Everything from jacking up shipping during a sale, not getting product when ordered, not paying artists for CDs despite contractual agreements, etc. When you hear one story, you just keep listening to see what else comes out. When you hear multiple tales of similar discrepancies, you see a pattern. If the pattern is big enough, I just try to protect myself.

If it helps you find stuff, on the left hand side where the music genres are listed, you can scroll down and get to where they actually allow you filter by label, and even by affiliation (and by Stryper..lol). That's VERY cool.
