Devin Williams, who apparently was last discussed here about 6 years ago (and whom I just discovered recently) is releasing another EP soon and just released a new single. Classic Devin! He has always done the modern rock thing, but he knows how to write for his voice.
I don't know why the labels never picked him up.
He started with an album many years ago under the band name Mouthpiece. There was an actual band back then. After a couple of years, there was no longer a full band and he kept on recording under his own name.
