She was by far the prettier lady on the show.

I was really bummed to see this. I know these people can't live forever, but I am almost certain she is the last of the regular cast to pass away. I remember several years of watching Gilligan's Island in re-runs. Especially since I was a latch-key kid. I would come home from school and watch a few hours of television (mostly re-runs) before my parents even got home from work. Mary Ann was one of my favorite characters on the show (along with the Professor and Skipper).

Yeah, Hardcore caught me on MeWe and let me know I had goofed. I could have sworn we lost Ginger a few years ago, I must have had her confused with someone else. That certainly makes Tina the last of the original cast. Now here is a question, when they did the made for tv movies did they replace Ginger with a new cast member, or just leave the character out of the story? Because I full on remember Tina refusing to do the movies, she hated being typecast.

Holy Moly Cow that is a hilarious still shot! Apparently Judith Baldwin also portrayed Ginger in the feature length "The Castaways On Gilligan's Island" in 1979. However, for the 1981 feature length "The Harlem Globetrotters on Gilligan's Island" she was played by Constance Forslund.

When I was a kid, I probably wouldn't have noticed the change in actress. She has red hair, but she looks nothing like the real Ginger.
