New band (for me anyway). This is a mix of clean and dirty vocals. Beware, it's 13 minutes long. : )
"Magnify" (1st Kings 8:22-52)
There is no other God like You In heaven above or earth below Spoken from Your mouth Fulfilled by Your hand
You have kept Your promises There is no other
The vast skies cannot contain You How much less this temple I have built The nations will hear of Your mighty power In battle, uphold me In victory, make yourself known
Hear my cry Plea my case
His justice will prevail There is no other All the earth knows the Lord is God
You have heard my cry Pleaded my case And set Your eyes towards me Day and night You have heard my cry Plea my case Day and night Make yourself known We magnify
Magnify Day and night Glorify All the earth knows the Lord God reigns here

Well, we can be sure that Chris won't be listening to this all the way through

You got that right! I skipped over the guitar intro. The music started and it reminds me of Seventh Day Slumber so I thought I'd give it a go from there. When those Cookie Monster vocals started, I quit. I can't stand that kind of vocal. Between song length and the vocal style, I am out.

Funny you should say that. When I heard it, I thought, "Chris won't be listening to this all the way through"

Oh, but it does clean up. Cookie Monster is only one part of it...but you have to wait for like ten days before you get to the clean vocals, lol, well, 4 minutes. Music is SO subjective. I love that we all have such different tastes and yet there always seems to be overlap (we both like Lordchain and the Blues for instance).

With our musical tastes here, we should be able to show the world how to co-exist in anything. None of us like exactly the same thing. Even for those of us who share more similarities in genre favorites, we still don't like the same bands all the time. So, we crank up what we like and celebrate those similarities. Then we extend more grace to those who listen to things that drive us crazy.

I don't think Solomon sounded like that. I like the technical aspect of the music and the clean vox parts, not sure about the deathy vocals. It's cool they set Scripture to music though it is VERY abridged.
