| Sounds familiar, but I don't think I've ever seen anything other than a cover (in an online photo). _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| I have never heard of it, either. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| *light bulb moment* I have heard of them. I sent them a JC CD for review and they wanted to put us in the magazine but it would cost me $80. Once again, why does the artist have to pay somebody to use their material for entertainment? I'm sure the mag is full of paid advertising not to mention selling 8,000+ copies per issue. | |

| Thanks guys. I asked because we've been invited to submit "Children of God" to appear in a magazine supplement that features indie bands (no charge). It's a secular magazine though so I just wanted to know if anyone had read the mag. It's a neat opportunity for a Christian band to appear in a secular publication, but a bit unnerving. | |

www.jesusfreakhideout.com also charges indie artists for reviews. Even with reviews, it is a pay to play situation for up and coming bands anymore.

| Yeah, we looked at Jesus Freak and decided against sending them material because they charge for reviews. It's hard enough just breaking even so asking a Christian indie band to pay for a review is crazy. It's a mission, not a money maker. Heaven's Metal is good and Andy at Angelic Warlord is my hero. | |
