I hear ya. It sucks, but it's better than not working.
I may have to buy a Lone Ranger mask. Hey, if they require a mask, then they need to specify which ones.

We have to wear masks when you take the train. I don't travel by train now.

The dumb thing is, the masks they give us at work say on the box does not protect against covid. Sham.

Yeah they are getting pretty picky at work with the masks. I don't have to wear it at my work area but if I go in any enclosed environment I have to wear one. They are also doing temp checks every day now instead of once a week but cases in Florida are going up fast. So far I know two people that have had it and one of them died.

I find it amusing that RATT's Round and Round has made it back to the charts thanks to their GEICO commercial.

I'd be interested if anyone else here know's someone personally who has died from Covid-19. My wife has a coworker who's daughter got it and gave it to her monther-in-law and she died, but that isn't actually someone my wife knows personally.

I think that is fantastic! Especially given that Stephen is the only original person from the band even in the commercial.

You have intentionally opened yourself up for a world of hurt. All the rest of the mods and admins are going to quit amidst all the poo the monkeys hurl at each other. Leaving you alone to clean it all up(yes I did just call the posters at the CMR monkeys....myself included).

Hahaha well I'm basically the only active mod on there anyways. I may opt to just re-close it real quick... we'll see. Most of the trolls/troublemakers have long since left so I'm hesitantly hopeful! It's something I've been wanting to do for a while because it is a bit silly to have a Christian forum but anything relating to Christian doctrine be off limits IMO. Well y'all can grab some popcorn, sit back, and enjoy the poo-flinging!

If they actually discuss theology and not argue about who's right and who's wrong, it could possibly be a good thing.

2 out of 3 hospitalized, one died. The third has mild symptoms (I know him from church and he is currently the County Clerk of Court).

I know one person who had the virus. She was at home, took the Z-pack and hydroxychloriquine combo, and was back to work immediately after her two week quarantine.
I know a lady who had both her mom and aunt (sisters) die from the virus. They were both in their 80s.
Other than that, I know no one personally who has had the virus.
We have had an uptick in cases after all the protests and riots. Our county mayor has declared us in a State of Emergency and is asking everyone to wear a mask if you leave home. At first he said it would be required, but he has now back-peddled and said it was a recommendation as he didn't have the legal authority to require this.

Our governor, may he live forever, has mandated wearing a mask in public for the whole state. He was here in town last week and took his off to talk saying it was his first amendment right. Good for he but not for thee.

Be careful there comrade, our benevolent dictator Inslee (may he live forever) might make it a capital offense to mock him.

As of yesterday, I deleted the facebook app from my phone. I can still get to it from my browser, if necessary.
First off, I've spent too much time on it, and it's especially easy when you have an app button one touch away.
Second: I'm sick of being force fed their fake news narrative. Pretty self explanatory.

Related to mods: have you asked Arttie if he'll let you recruit some new blood? One guy can't be expected to run the place and deal with real life at the same time.
