So did anyone get this release from back in 2014? I think it's rather unique. You can't totally pigeon-hole the music into any one genre other than melodic and possibly a little progressive. To me it seems to be a mix of rock, metal, gothic, and even piano ballads with some slight industrial influences thrown in. For some reason that sounds like a horrible mix of stuff but it works (at least for me). It is Ken Pike (from the 80's Christian metal band Malachia), and a female singer that I believe is his wife. I remember when this was released Ken was careful to say that it wasn't a "Christian" project....but I don't think there is anything offensive in it either. Ken's voice is still in great form. It looks like the entire album is on youtube, and I'm guessing it is on Spotify as well.

I remember this and remember liking the less industrial songs pretty well but it's not something I'd come back to much. I like Absolon better but it's still not something I listen to much.

Yeah I was hoping there would be another Absolon album...but not sure if that's going to happen. I liked probably about 1/2 to 2/3 of both the Absolon and Firesphere albums.

I didn't get this or the Absolon album. They just didn't interest me.
I am listening to the songs posted above now. They sound like he is trying to be a Queensryche clone but striving for the irritating years of Geoff Tate making them solo albums instead of great QR records.

Oh my....that is not a compliment at all.
