| Ok, so I'm really getting in the mood for a new Seventh Avenue album. I guess most of you have heard the samples already, but have a listen again and make sure you hear it all the way through (6 ish minutes long). I think it sounds on par with Eternals, and by what I can make out the lyrics are good too. http://www.purevolume.com/seventhavenue I've listened to it at least 10 times already! | Seventh Avenue will play in April at the Legends Of Rock. I am not very familiar with thier music. Maybe they play some songs of their new album. | |

| SA is a talented band. I have tried to get into them, but I just can't seem to really love this band. I've bought several of their CDs and have traded/sold them all. I usually like the music at first, but get bored with their music with time. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

| I have only listened to it twice (like a normal person). But I think Fundy is correct, it does sound like it is going to be on par with Eternals. I have to say I am not a huge fan of this type of speedy power metal, but I really liked the Eternals album, and I'm looking forward to the new disc. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... | I think the vocals are a lot better than before based on the new snippets. I like the music but the vocals have always kept them from being a fav band... Now if we can get a new lightmare and seventh avenue in the same year that would be great! Alex | |

| I love their new song on myspace. I'm pretty sure SA's new album will be my favourite album of the year!

| Here's my 2 minute review:
This is a stellar album. Sort of a sci-fi concept album of sorts, laying the story of the Gospel into a futuristic battle of good and evil. Terium is a mined substance the people take for good health, but is a metaphor for sin.
Some songs are steeped in the sci-fi imagery, but the lyrics of others are quite bold.
This is clearly their best release to date. Yet again, they continue to get better. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

| You're exactly right, topshot!
Bit early to do a review (after a listen and a half) but here's what I think.........
Only time will tell if it's better than Eternals, but at present it feels like it is! I started listening to it and didn't press the skip button once! And that is quite an amazing feat for an album over 70 minutes long with 15 different tracks! For those who haven't heard of SA before, both this album and Eternals are the best places to start. Terium is a concept based album which basically goes for the story of Jesus coming down from heaven, but this time it has a Sci Fi slant on it. It's all done very well and Mike who wrote all the lyrics proves yet again that he's the man for the job. Herbie concentrates on the music side of it, and like Eternals shows us that he knows how to write some stonking tunes! It's my album of 2008! Nothing can seemingly stop the SA advance! Long may they reign!!!! My favourite song is incredibly tricky to decide, but at the moment it'll have to be either Futures Dawn or New Era, but when the songs are this good, I don't really care. Hey, they're all brilliant! (and it seems to me that SA are STILL the only band to continually improve with each album.)
Just to let you know what the lyrics are like, here's a bit from the song "Betrayal"
Take bread, take wine, bless it, share it out. It's my body given for your sins. For your sins.
My time has come wish it would not I feel so cold my death is near Never want to drink this sorrowful cup my heart is low on this midnight hour. I'll be alone I'm frightened to death Yet not what i want but your will be done. _________________ My Christian Metal Website......... Silence Is Madness
