Yesterday, I binged a show on Netflix called "The Unsettling". It was an okay scary show but not really scary. It was easy to watch all 8 episodes as all but the first were around 22-24 minutes.
Today, I decided to get a couple of movies off my Netflix list. Today, I watched "Triple Frontier" starring Ben Affleck and this afternoon was "Spencer Confidential" with Mark Walberg. Both were fun action movies.

Another Netflix movie Time Trap.
While not the best movie ever, it was fun. You can't get cavemen, the Fountain Of Youth, time travel, and aliens all in one movie and it make sense unless you throw superheroes in the mix. This one doesn't have superheroes. Just watch it for fun and it will be fine.

Have been enjoying Dragnet on MeTV. It comes on early so we DVR it and watch both episodes in the evening. These are the color episodes titled by year. Right now it's Dragnet:1967. They did episodes from 67-70. I don't know why they don't show the B&W episodes but would like to see those at some point.

The movie paled in comparison to the original. The detectives performances were so stilted and wooden that it was viewed as a comedy 15-20 years later.....even though it was never meant to be a comedy.

It's been yeeeeeears since I've seen it, though in my memory it seemed pretty intentionally a comedy. Eh, probably not worth revisiting though either way haha.
Last night the wife and I started watching an old favorite of mine as a kid: Jack The Giant Killer. It's got a hero, princess who needs rescuing, and giant clay-animated monsters! What's not to like!

Two notes about it...
1- in the crowd scenes there were quite a few people that wore...face masks.
2- don’t know it you have heard about bill gates developing a kind of “synthetic” meat.

I have always been a fan of the 1980 movie Flash Gordon. I have it on BR but haven't gotten around the watching it.
I was listening to a podcast called Stuck In The 80's where they celebrate the film. In it they talked about a little known documentary called "Life After Flash" which is free on Amazon Prime so I plan to check it out.

Finished the Flash Gordon doc and it was very interesting. Sam J Jones (Flash) is a Christian now and it was nice to hear him say a prayer a couple of times during the documentary. They actually had 3 Flash movies planned but scrapped them when it did not do as well as expected in the US. They were also going to recast Flash as there were issues with Sam Jones. They actually ended up finishing the film without him. After a Christmas break he never came back to finish the film so they used a stunt double and used a voice actor to dub his lines.

Found some good stuff to watch on Prime and I could download them to my phone and watch parts on lunch break. Star Trek II The Wrath Of Kahn. Always a good movie I remember my dad took me to see it in the theater when it was new. Also downloaded Star Trek III. May take me several days to get thru them but it makes lunch break nice.

With all the push to get us off of traditional meat onto replacement sources, I wouldn't doubt that this could eventually come true. We have plant based fake meats already, so we are already being groomed to accept a food source that is artificially made. With the way the government now lies so easily, something like this could be forced upon us and they wouldn't even tell us where this new source of artificial protein was coming from.
