What are you watching?

Last night I watched the new "Justice League" movie.  Meh.

I finished season two of The Expanse.



I liked the Justice League movie, but I really hope we will someday get the Snyder cut.

Re-watched The Breakfast Club last night.  Haven't seen it in more than a decade.

Finally caught up on the  new Macgyver series.

Plus been watching some of the Doctor Who show, especially that deals with River Song.

I actually liked that movie.  Odd, quirky, and different.

Saw a movie last night that I really enjoyed. It was called Knives Out with Daniel Craig. I don't usually manage to watch a film all the way through. I get ants in my pants and need to go get something else to do in order to go the distance (a sudoku, sewing, finger puzzle, Swiss ball...) or break it up and watch the rest another night or just abort the mission and forget about it. But Knives Out had lots of layers. I really didn't know how it was going to end until it did.

With all of this talk about Tiger King, I started that but I am only paying half attention. It is quite weird.

No, he's the guy using the beaver (though I guess you could say he's the beaver at some point).

The show is an absolute train wreck, it's hard to turn away. One of the oddest things I have ever seen and everyone in the show needs major prayer.

From what I have heard about Tiger King, I am gonna skip it.  There is nothing there to see, folks.


Over a couple of weeks, I have watched the first 6 Marvel movies (Iron Man, The Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, Capt. America, and The Avengers).

Also, I have been watching a couple episodes of The Expanse per day.  I am now into the 4th season.  I am trying to buy the 8 book series of novels this is based on.

An interesting tidbit:  one of Larry Norman's songs is included in the flick.  "Righteous Rocker."

Well I'm probably going to end up watching the rest of it, because now my wife's coworkers are trying to talk to her about it....and she want's to know what's going on.

Last night watched "Oz the Great & Powerful"

I have finished seasons two and three of The Expanse and am nearly halfway through season four.  I do hope they will continue this series to match the book series.  That could be a whopping 9 season arc.  With only a max of 13 shows per season, that could be doable.  Every two seasons are just a few episodes more than a traditional hit show on a regular network as far as numbers go.

I have enjoyed the series so much that I have ordered the entire series.  I have books 1-8 ordered with 9 to be released later this year.  I don't know if I will try to track down the novellas that go with it.

Oh wow, I didn't know that The Exapnse was based on a series of books.  I do hope they continue the series.  I need to get back into it myself.

I just wish they'd make it a tad more kid friendly.  I love the storylines, but the language in the show is atrocious.  Each season has one gratuitous sex scene.  I haven't seen one in season 4, though.  Thank the Lord!

All four seasons of The Expanse are me complete.  I can't wait to start the books and for season 5 to start.
