I Am Mother (on Netflix). Enjoyable dystopian scifi thriller. Well worth watching IMO.

I watched that one several weeks back and was less than impressed. I thought it failed to capture any of the magic those first two JE flicks. Not horrible....just not good either.

On a separate note, I found out they are remaking this^. I highly doubt in this day and age they would have all the references to God and Jesus still in the show. I really enjoy the 90’s version and have it on dvd. I am a bit worried how the new version may turn out.

I finished all of Jessica Jones.
I know that Netflix is the one who decided to cancel these shows. However, both Luke Cage and Jessica Jones hint at more to come. Jessica Jones is the only show that started filming after the announcement was made that Netflix was ending its shows with Disney. While I know that they won't be returning to Netflix, I do believe that we will see all of these Marvel characters again either on the big screen or on Hulu which Disney now owns.

Absolutely fantastic book and cheesy but decent made for tv movie. As for the remake I thought they already did it (or maybe I'm thinking of some other King novel turned tv movie). I'm probably going to pass...I can't stand Whoopi Goldberg.

Oh yes, same actor. Bill Fagerbakke (what a cool name). First saw him in the Craig T Nelson lead tv sitcom Coach (from the 90's).

Is this show good? I enjoy campy horror/comedies and thought Evil Dead and Army Of Darkness were fun (though sadly have never seen Evil Dead II which I hear is the best of the three).
I'm midway through the second season of Scream. It's got some good moments though far too much teenie-bopper soap-opera drama. The movies are much better...

I've actually only seen Army of Darkness and the Ash Vs Evil Dead series. I'm generally not a fan of horror, but I really like Bruce Campbell (for some reason). I actually like AVED because it is campy, over the top, stupid, and just plain ridiculous. Some of it is a bit too gory, and some of the sexual innuendo is a bit juvenile...but I don't watch it to be educated.

Right on. I might check it out then. I don't remember, do you like The Adventures Of Brisco County Jr.? That show was my introduction to Bruce Campbell and turned me into a fan. It's a super fun show and quite clean.

I'm pretty sure we discussed Brisco Co Jr before. I remember really liking the show (watched it back when it was new). Odd, but really fun show.

^Probably, I've just got a poor memory. It got released on DVD for quite cheap; I recommend picking it up and rewatching!
The local library had Big Trouble In Little China on blu-ray for $2 so I bought it. I don't think I've actually ever seen it all the way through, though I've probably seen the whole movie in little pieces here or there on TV. I'm looking forward to watching it one of these evenings as I remember it being a lot of fun. Plus, Kurt Russell + John Carpenter = good stuff!
