It was a decent flick. I don't love the character and only saw this because it ties into Avengers: Endgame. Otherwise, I would probably have skipped this. It was fun, though. I just don't love the character. | In other news... my dad and I watched They Shall Not Grow Old which is a fantastic documentary on WWI. I highly recommend it, though there are some really gnarly images of killed and wounded soldiers which is pretty harrowing, especially because it's real. | |

Really enjoyed it! That cat was gnarly! I had figured Nick would get his eye contact injured in this but NOT like that! The 1st post credits scene was kinda what I expected. The 2nd was kinda ugh. Still wondering how the 2nd one might connect to Endgame. | |

| Thor - Ragnarok (easily the best Thor film...and probably one of my favorites from the MCU).
Avengers - Infinity War (better than Age of Utron....not bad, but I'm not a huge fan of films that don't end with some sort of resolution).

| The Umbrella Academy
While another comic book adaptation, this one isn't your typical Avengers or DC type superhero show. This is a dysfunctional family struggling just to relate to one another due to the pain of their upbringing. This adds another dynamic that just drew me in. Other shows keep pulling me away. Yeah, I know what you mean by that. It gets frustrating when there are two or three shows that you want to see, and they are all on at the same time. If that’s the case, it can be nice to just put all the frustration to the side and just wait for the DVDs to come out and hav a marathon. If you have an Amazon Fire Stick or something similar (or online streaming) that would help too. Just found out season 2 already finished airing. I didn’t even know it was on already. | |
