Savior Sample

Good morning y'all.

After yesterdays ridiculous exchange on Random Ramblings about frogs in blenders, John and I thought we'd share a sample of the infamous frog song, Savior, with you. It's not about blenders (sorry Staybrite). It's a song about how pride can creep up on us unexpectedly. It's about how Christ saves us from falling prey to Satan's trickery. Here it is...

It still sounds fantastic even without there being any "blended frogs".

Thank you all for the positive comments!! We just settled on the cover art for this song, which will be released on November 1st as the first single from our upcoming album. Sadly I could not find any frog clipart to fit into the theme for the cover

Man, I've got to stop missing time here.  I apparently missed a song idea about frogs in a blender.

Ooo, ooo, did you not see the lyrics we wrote in Random Ramblings. Quite the hit. I think Chris is going to record it. lol

Whoever records it better at least give me a "muse" credit! 

We can do better than that! We could give you a leading role in the video. Just get out that Kermit costume you've been hiding in the back of your wardrobe....   🐸

Oh my goodness!!!!  That is hilarious!!!!  I'd love to hear Chris' version, although the lyrics were screaming grindcore when I read them. 

On a serious note, though, I am impressed with your ability to craft a couple of meaningful verses on the theme of a frog in a blender.  I see them leading toward a moral at the end of the song.

Yeah, i can see it that way. The blender song is positively cringe worthy (those rhymes. Ugh!). It might be easier to sell the song with a good ol' scream.

Here's your moral:
Should have listened to my mother
Found a safer place to wander
But I was blinded by my ego
Took the dare. Walked in to Prego's
Now I'm stuck here in his kitchen
Wishing that I'd only listened

Here ends the tragic tale of the frog who should have listened to his mother, but instead finds himself about to grace the tables at Prego's Diner. So sad.
