I'm not at all a fan of instrumental music, but I kind of dig that.

This track is just guitar and drums thus far. Not sure if it'll have vocals on it or not. Other song by PJ Bostic have vocals on them.
For those that don't know, PJ Bostic is Paul Roraback's project. For those that don't know, Paul Roraback played drums for Grammatrain and Paragon.

He's the guy that did an album with a ton of Rush influence, wasn't he?

Definitely. He did a cover of 2112: Overture for a Rush tribute album. They did a great job.

Cool! I have a couple of tracks that I downloaded from iTunes a few years ago. This one sounds good and I imagine vocals will be added later.

Here's a tune from 014 to give you an idea what the vocals sound like. The music definitely has a Rush feel but the vocalist doesn't sound like Geddy. Not sure if this guy does it all or just plays the instruments.

Whoa, how has no one told me about this before? The music definitely feels a lot like Rush, odd times to boot. The vocals are alright but the music is great. The production is modern but sounds classic.

He can definitely play. I don't know that I would like the whole album as I am not a fan of most proggy rock due to really long song arrangements. I have leaned thay I am not just musically A.D.D. I actually am! I take meds for it nowadays. It makes a big difference!

I'm curious, how do long songs but with multiple short sections fare with you? Or if they're playing in the background while you're working and concentrating on something else?

If something is in the background, I still hear it. It still drives me crazy
Long songs with multiple parts I end up getting lost in. The pieces don't feel like a whole song. I would mostly likely skip the song if I were playing the music.
