I was listening to Nouveaux’s Beginnings album tonight and on comes “All That Glitters”. That song would easily make my top 20 songs ever, by anyone. The crisp drum hits, thundering bass line, walls of guitars, and superb vocals, including a hook that is just massive. That album gets compared to Def Leppard a lot and for good reason, but this particular song is way better than most anything DL ever did. Just a fantastic, inspired song.

I will admit that the song is much better than anything I can think of from Def Leppard's pop-metal phase. The hook in the track is so massive that I find myself singing it for days after just hearing it once. Heck I didn't even hear it recently but I'll probably be humming it later today, just because you brought it up in this thread. A well written and expertly executed song.

Yep, a great song. I don't own anything by Nouveaux, but that's definitely a top song.

Nouveaux's first album was just a stellar polished sounding hair metal project. I just wish their follow up had continued in that vein.

It looks like the entire album is on youtube. So you can listen to all of it.
It looks like the youtube player might only play the first track. IF you follow the link below it will take you to youtube player that will play all 10 songs.
