Sad Mick Rowe News

Mick is about to reissue the Goliath album after giving us a new Tempest EP.  Looks like things are taking a turn for the bad for him right now.  He definitely needs prayer if these allegations are true.

Holy cow, I hope the accusations aren't true.  Praying for him either way.

Actually, he went back to Indiana, then out to California after his divorce, then to Louisiana for a very short time, and then ended back up in Indiana.

It's sad it has so like it is now with Mick.

Yes, back in 2007.  From what I understand, he got off because his daughter wouldn't testify against him.  This time, she is an adult and is going to.  Even his brother Jamie has come out in a few conversations on Facebook and has made statements that Mick has issues deserving of jail time.  I didn't say that the same way as Jamie has, but that is the gist of what he was saying.

I actually searched for news on this and found nothing. If you search his name results are small or pull up someone else entirely. Either way will pray for the people involved.

When I saw this it was really disheartening.  My thoughts are way too jumbled on this to really talk about it, so I'll just say let's keep them in our prayers.

As for current news, there is really just the arrest story.  The name "Mick Rowe" yields nothing, but his real name is "Mickey," so when you search that you get more results.

I wondered why his drummer pulled out of the Goliath project a few days ago. Egads.

I was thinking of ol' Mick today and wondered whatever happened to him.  Was he convicted?  Was he exonerated?

It took a few minutes of searching, but I found that he is still listed in the Pike County jail in Indiana.  I wonder if it is taking that long to go to trial, or did he plea bargain for a lower charge?  I could find nothing about the outcome--just what we already knew.

He is a piece of work to say the least.

He definitely needs our prayers that he will get the mental and spiritual help he needs.  God can heal him of these urges and we should pray for his deliverance from it.  That does not mean we should pray to that he wouldn't receive his just rewards for committing these crimes.

I pray for healing for his daughter as well.

Classic Jekyll and Hyde lifestyle there. I know we all have our sins/demons to some extent but that is taking it too far, and it isn't clear if there has been any repentance. His daughter may not be in the picture anymore, but apparently there have been others. Prison will be tough on him as child sex offenders are considered the lowest of the low.

May God have mercy on his soul, but may the State not have any.

This is so sick. It's unbelievable.

Although I cannot confirm it, I have heard from someone who knew about all the allegations against Mick before they went public that Mick has since entered into a plea bargain and will serve 16 years without parole.  I cannot substantiate that as I have found no news stories.

I skimmed that document, and it sounded like he had a plea agreement originally, and was trying to get the newer charges to fall under that. But there was serving some time in there somewhere. It sounds like a mess. Definitely praying for him and all those affected.

Oh dear, I didn't realize this was going on as recently as the fall of 2015
