Angelic Warlord write up at George Fox

Many of you do not know this, but in the late eighties I graduated from a small Christian liberal arts college located south of Portland, Oregon, George Fox University.  Much to my surprise (and delight!) GFU included the following write up about Angelic Warlord in the most recent edition of the "George Fox Journal":

Andrew (Rockwell) (G87) is administrator of Angelic Warlord, an online (angelicwarlord.com) music magazine that focuses on heavy metal and Christian rock music. He is responsible for all design and content coordination, including record reviews, news updates, artist interviews and current release dates. In its 11th year, it has the mission “to support Christians creating art within the metal and hard rock genres.” He lives in Glendale, Arizona.

Wow!  More often than not I am the one giving out good press- it is not often that I receive it!

During my two years at George Fox, I majored in Communications and took every possible writing, journalism, English literature and video production class offered.  Needless to say, without my education at George Fox, Angelic Warlord never would have come to fruition.

It is also hard to believe that 11 years have passed since I launched the site...

That's awesome!  Congrats!

It is cool that your site has blossomed to the point that your old university recognized your efforts.  That also gives you some free press about Angelic Warlord.  Any press is good press, and good press is even better!
