| I found this old band several years ago on an old artist music sharing site (that doesn’t even exist anymore). One of the original band members was sharing music from the bands 1991 album “Change the World”. I remember thinking it was pretty darned good for an indie recording.
It looks like someone other than the original Artist uploaded this to IUMA, but I can attest that the music was be available for free download on a legitimate indie artist site around 10 years ago. I have had the hardest time finding any other information about this band. The written blurb at the UMA site looks to be identical to the one from the previous artist music sharing site I read years ago.

If you have the time give the album a download and check them out. The id-tags are all messed up on the MP3 download so the songs might be attributed to other bands in your music player. I would post a youtube vid for you to check out a song or two, but I can't even find that. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Whoa! That is terrific! How did this band not make more waves back in the day? I know they came late, but a lot of great melodic heavy metal was released in the Christian scene after 1991.
Thanks for the tip! | |

Thanks for the tip! I always wonder why we don't hear more about them (especially at the CMR), but if you try to search for the band on the web you get almost zero results. I can't even find a picture of their album cover. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| I just wish that the MP3s you can download were of higher quality. I may try to remaster them and see if I can get a bit more out of them. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/ | |

This is likely the same upload you got from that legit site.

| That's pretty much what I was thinking as well. Especially given that it included (verbatum) the singer's synopsis about the band. It's cool that people are doing that. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| I will give it a shot later. I am currently working on redoing the mastering of the first two albums by the blues rock band Cornerstone.

| In addition to Jealous, they were also called Armor prior to that apparently. Someone listed a demo tape with the same members from 1989. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."

I had a demo tape of a band called Armor once. The demo was called "Get Armed". I wish I could find a decent copy of that tape. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/

| Doesn't sound like the same one. The entry reads: - Quote :
- Armor (MN)
Robbinsdale, Minnesota Discography Demo. 1989? Custom CS. Demo Ken Arnold: lead vocals, lead guitar. Jeff Hall: lead guitar, vocals. Kevin Jacobson: bass, vocals. Tim Buelow: drums, vocals. Songs: Waiting. Stand Up. Don't Play with the Fire. Heaven's Child. Give Him Your Heart Tonite. Straight Up. Songs 1-4 recorded locally in an 8-track studio in April, 1989; songs 5 and 6 were recorded in 1987 / 1988. _________________ "If you are not concerned about your neighbor's salvation, you should be concerned about your own."
