| Just watched Taking Chance for the second time. Amazing how a movie with no action and a very basic story line can draw you and and keep you in rapt attention until the end. | |

Arrival Fantastic Beasts
I would Say it was definitely worth watching. the "wow" was because it was such a large disaster, but based on a true story. There is quite a bit of profanity in it. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Veronika and I watched a couple episodes of Black Mirror yesterday evening after hearing many good things about it. I was particularly not impressed. It's not terrible, just not very interesting and doesn't have much to say (at least from the two episodes I saw). Kinda generic/cliche dystopian stories about the negative effects of technology, etc. I wouldn't recommend. | |

I watched all three both of the first short (ie British) seasons. I almost quit watching after the first one, but I stuck it out and ended up really liking some of the later episodes. It is a bit stilted and almost passionless at some points, but we are talking about a British show with dystopian themes. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

You pretty much summed up what I took from the previews.

| This weekend Veronika and I watched A Christmas Story with my parents. Last night the two of us started watching The Adventures Of Brisco County Jr. which was a favorite tv show of mine as a kid. It's very light but it's fun. | |

I haven't seen Brisco since the show was new on television (back in the 90s?). I was a wild fan back in the day, I wonder if I would still like it. Bruce Campbell is fantastic. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Yeah it's a pretty fun show! I got the DVD set for like $15 at Costco a few years ago. That's cool that someone else is familiar with it too. | |

Wow, if I had seen it for that price I would have snatched it up too. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| Watched "The Boss" with Melissa McCarthy last night. Completely inappropriate humor (even for one of her movies) and just a bunch of dumb over-used prat falls. There's 90 minutes of my life I'll never get back. _________________ "I used to be indecisive.......... Now I'm not sure."

| I saw "Rogue One" with a buddy from work again yesterday. It was even better the 2nd time!
Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 2
In these movies, I actually think that Harry was perhaps the greatest wizard ever. The Deathly Hallows would have made him invincible. Even Dumbledore had acquired the Elder Wand that gave him much more power and even the Eternity Stone. He was collecting these. Voldemort wanted them as well. They both, even though they had different motives, wanted that power.
Harry through this movie actually holds all three pieces. His Invisibility Cloak was the third of the Deathly Hallows. While he retains and uses it, he drops the Eternity Stone in the Black Forest as I guess he really doesn't want the power of living forever. He breaks the Elder Wand as though it is nothing. Harry in his humbleness shows more strength and inner power than either of the two great wizards involved in this conflict. So, to me, he became the greatest wizard because he was able to overcome adversity and extreme loss to hang on to friendship, love, and joy while never giving into the thirst for power that many crave. _________________ I might have decided, or maybe not, that I should or shouldn't, depending on the issue or non-issue, to possibly share or not share, any thoughts, opinions, or facts (that might not be deemed factual by some), due to possible fear of any misinterpretation or retribution. https://christianhardmusic.niceboard.com/
